I have now experienced Ain’t Nonnas for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can say that it is a must visit when you’re in Wollongong. All of their masterful creations are thought through with such care and attention that every bite must be savoured.To take the simplest thing like a ham and cheese croissant or sandwich and not only make it Italian but to make it mouth-wateringly delicious requires a special type of talent. The wine list is carefully curated and the coffee is delicious. They make their own pasta from scratch and the staff have always been helpful and welcoming.Every time I travel down from Sydney I’ll be sure to stop there on the way South. Definitely worth the detour.

Nailed it!I went for lunch and it reminded me of the fantastic Italian casual dining experience I grew up with in Sydney.The meal was of excellent quality and you can tell there is absolutely no compromise on ingredients.What the team is trying to achieve here is not easy and they are certainly nailing it.Anyone writing a poor review of this place has clearly never purchased any quality ingredients or they would know the cost, time and effort it takes to produce a flawless meal and experience like this.I can’t recommend it highly enough. This crew is going above and beyond to bring something fantastic to Wollongong.Keep up the good work.

Pleasant atmosphere plus an excellent meal. This was our first visit to this relatively new venue and we were very happy. Service was great and the menu was explained well by the wait team. It has a nice feel with an open kitchen. Congratulations to the operator. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.

Really enjoyed our dinner here! Bit loud but ambiance was nice. Highlight was the service. Waitress knew the menu well and was friendly, attentive and our meals were perfectly timed. Food was delicious and well priced for the quality. Would definitely recommend.

After seeing how talented the Ain’t Nonnas team were in their pop up, I must admit I went in with pretty high expectations. Boy did they blow them out of the park!The service were fantastic with staff that were super knowledgeable and attentive. The fact they use high quality and sustainable ingredients was also a big plus for me. They take the time to know the back story of their ingredients and where things are sources so you also can see that they all invested in what they use!The atmosphere has such a great vibe and I loved the open kitchen concept. Plus I love the share concept for the menu, as you get to try a bit of everything, however, my favorite is the feed me menu!Seriously can’t wait to get back there and would recommend this place to anyone with taste buds (or those who want to get some!)

Amazing Italian food, simple and delicious. Good space to be in, service was great, beautiful open kitchen. The staff are friendly, special mention to the head chef. We went for a birthday and they were happy to accomodate. Need candles. Keen to get back!
