Mixed feelings about my dinner tonight. The ambiance of the place was beautifulCustomer service was good as wellFood arrived at my table on time. But serious concerns about the portion size.- Jalapeno Poppers were $7 for four small pieces. The pieces were so small that it couldn’t even fill the basket that was served with.- Dirty fries looked fine initially. Portion could be better considering the price but once I ate them – too too salty. And the more you eat the saltier it gets. It was obvious if you put extra seasoning in your chips, add bacon and cheese then it would be salty. Then why was is served as such.- Waikiki Fried Burger looked beautiful. The only problem was the chicken felt a little bit dry and again it was soo salty.- Byron Grilled Chicken Burger was so plain. No flavour in the chicken, bun looked so pale. It could be much better.Overall, this place looks much better than it tastes but it can be so much better.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We waited an hour for our food, and watched tables who sat down and ordered upwards of 30 minutes after us have their food served first. We had to chase to get our food, and when it finally came, the onion rings were stone cold and the burgers were incorrect. We’ve had similar experiences the other two times we’ve come here over the last couple of months. It doesn’t take that long to train staff (the excuse provided to us, when we queried what was going on).For the price (over $60 for two burgers, sides and soda), you’d be better off continuing up Peel St and going to the likes of McDonald’s or Oporto instead.

I really wanted to give a better review for Burger Urge but the last 2 times have been less than stellar. On 29th April I order and pay via their webpage which said the burgers would be ready for pickup at 6:50pm. I arrive on time only to be told we haven’t got that order. When I informed them I ordered on line the counter staff checked the docket machine and found my order which had been sitting there the whole time. The burgers were then made quickly and as a compensation I was given a complementary burger voucher and a complementary fries voucher both to use at a future time.Fast forward to 20th May and we felt like Burger Urge again. This time I wanted to use my vouchers so I ring the order through on the phone. When I asked how long the order would be I was very casually told, “Oh about 15 minutes”. Okay then I rock up at after 15mins to find my order waiting on the counter. I proceed to pay and gave the counter staff my two vouchers. This is the same counter person as last time. They couldn’t get the fries voucher to work so they handed to task over to one of the kitchen staff who sorted it out, but forgot to use the burger voucher that I had given them. During all this time my order is sitting on the counter getting colder by the second. So to finish I have two pieces of advice:-To Burger Urge Management. Train your staff properly.-To patrons of Burger Urge. Either order in and eat there or for pick up order when you get there. That way at least your food will be hot.P.S. I do like the food there but I feel they are letting themselves down.

Burgers here are ok. I wouldn’t say it’s the best burgers.

We are in Tamworth from the Central Coast and stumbled across this joint when hunting for dinner. What a fantastic surprise! fresh ingredients, buns perfectly toasted and honestly delicious. And the price was fantastic. Cody was our fab server, who was attentive and helpful. Honest 5 stars.
