Awesome atmosphere — staff enhanced our dining experience with friendly fast service. They congratulated us on our anniversary and decorated our dessert Lava cake! Great attention to detail!We noticed staff celebrating customers birthdays, singing clapping cheering. Good vibe here.Our meals delicious — we ate seafood chowder, barramundi special, and the blue mussels in creamy garlic sauce, with a bottle of Australian wine. All tasted great.Dessert menu is epic!Rainy night enhanced the intimacy— we glad we chose Dundees on the Waterfront to enjoy our last night of our anniversary holiday!!!

My client and I are on holiday in Cairns and all she wanted was fresh mud crab. Dundee’s definitely catered to her needs. Luke was amazing with the service and very attentive. One of the younger ladies ( sorry I didn’t get your name but you know who you are) helped my client break up the crab shell which was awesome and the amazing gentleman at the end who helped me pay with six different payments was simply fantastic. We had the crocodile satay, the barramundi supreme, the mud crab with fruit plate and the magnum lava cake. All meals were absolutely delicious. It was the best seafood we’ve had in Queensland. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our night perfect.

The chowder was really delicious. On the other hand, we had very high expectations of the “seafood tower” and was somewhat disappointed. It was not as generous in the amount of seafood on offer as I had hoped. The trio of dips was good but not great.Service was reasonably prompt. Most of the servers were also really friendly and attentive.The chocolate lava cake was definitely worth the wait, and we loved the idea of the 3-dimensional, visual dessert “menu”.

A restaurant with a view – check out the cruise ship that passed on by! 😄 I enjoyed a lovely afternoon/evening having dinner on the waterfront. The service was excellent, the food so delicious (I had the garlic bread with cheese (yum – highly recommend!!) and the Lamb Shanks special (it was soooo good, the meat just fell off the bone), plus the added touch of them handing out blankets because it was a little chilly on the boardwalk was the icing on the cake! A perfect evening spent with a good friend visiting from out of town 😀

Came in for dinner & lunch. We had the Seafood Tower for dinner, unfortunately the amount of seafood in it is not as much as we expected. The Coconut Parfait was lovely. Had the Linguine & Panang Curry for lunch, they were cooked beautifully with generous servings. We’re seated outside and had the lovely view, all staff were amazing and efficient. Would go back but not for the Tower.

On a trip from Melbourne, this restaurant was an absolute standout, the best we’ve experienced in a long time. We were overwhelmed with the amazing service we received from Stanley who gave us the perfect recommendations from starters, delicious mains to the most decadent desserts.
