Absolute gem.I feel very thankful to have experienced the impeccable service and fine dining at Elska. An incredible degustation with incredibly intuitive wine pairings. Solid gold.The ambiance is lovely, with alluring music, smooth lined furniture that just transports you into a world away.The timing of the dishes was ideal, allowing for total enjoyment and settling of one dish before the next. The dishes were all presented with flair and kept the taste buds on their toes, so to speak. An engaging night that transported you from one wonderful delight to the next with grace and excitement.The degustation is seasonal, which is lovely because each season brings fresh produce and a new story.Looking forward to many more beautiful degustation dinners at this neighbourhood gem.

I love all lights and table, chairs.15courses meal! Honestly one of the best meals of my life. A stunning and heartfelt celebration of Australian ingredients through the medium of Nordic cuisine. Passionate and enthusiastic staff helped to make this evening a journey and not just a meal. Each bite of food was an adventure for the palette. From the foraged local mushrooms to the Bonito fish caught off the coast of Brunswick Heads, flavour and texture combined to surprise and delight. The eyes were equally treated to a smorgasbord of intrigue. Not only was the presentation of the food itself a thing of beauty, the hand thrown pottery and assorted serving accoutrements were also a sight to behold. Can’t wait to go back and see what their Spring menu will bring to the table.

ELSKA truly offers an unforgettable dining experience. We enjoyed their 15 course winter menu and the combination of locally and sustainably sourced ingredients is phenomenal. The Nordic theme with Australian flavours is unique and the presentation impeccable. If you’re after a degustation menu in a restaurant that’s exclusive and exceptionally suitable for a special occasion, look no further. Plus all of that is topped with personal service in a very homely environment seldom found. Hats off to Freya and her team!

Service and table running smoothly. Appetisers were extremely delicious only the duck is too salty. Dessert above average. Highly recommend this place.

This a really great restaurant in the middle of New Farm!Firstly this place looks really cool. In fact it’s just like it jumped straight out of Copenhagen.Secondly the food and wine are both great. Myself and my partner had the pescatarian degustation with matching wines, both of which were exceptional. The matched wines were very interesting and absolutely matched the food perfectly.This place comes recommended.
