“Fishbone Wines is a boutique winery located in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. We produce wines which reflect the character, diversity and natural beauty of the region.

The 165-acre property, which was originally a dairy farm, required extensive work including new fences throughout and creation of a large spring-fed dam. The small original vineyard was renovated, and new plantings were also undertaken to bring the total acres under vines to 22.5. This includes some traditional varieties such as Cabernet and Chardonnay, and some lesser known alternatives such as Tempranillo, Malbec, Vermentino and Pinot Noir.

Nice food but a bit overpriced for what you get which was sad. Never seen any sushi rolls 30-32bucks for 8pieces in anywhere. Never had sashimi thin like that ever. Well, guess it’s normal for Margaret river? Wine price on the table was the same as cellar door that was good.

Started with the wine tasting which is at no cost when you have a lunch booking.You have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating and both have beautiful views.The Japanese food is absolutely delicious.Staff are very friendly and welcoming.We absolutely loved this winery and highly recommend. 5 stars from us!

The food is exceptional and the staff was wonderful. We came in, had our dog in the car, and they encouraged us to bring her in, found us a table where we could sit inside out of the wind, and she could be just outside but next to us. They brought her treats and water. So sweet. And the food is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable visit but must book ahead!

We really liked the outdoor setting we shared with our two dogs. Water bowls as well! The Japanese inspired menu was a real delight. We loved it all. And the Fishbone Rose another delight. Would liked to have given 5 star but service fell short. Very good on arrival but no follow up with wine replenishment or to check on the meal or to offer desert. Shame

Food is amazing, it’s nice for a winery to have the Japanese/Korean inspired menu. It’s good to be different and they do it really well. All the staff were really helpful and very nice, the wines are amazing and even scored a free bottle! Definitely recommend this place, you won’t regret it
