My partner and I came here for a Saturday dinner date. The immaculately presented food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. This was arguably one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have had to date.I attended Flying Fish in December 2021 for a nice dinner after work with my partner. We weren’t expecting to be blown away by the incredible service, delicious food and vibrant atmosphere.I must commend the team at Flying Fish as the service we received from Jessica (our waitress) was beyond anything we have experienced before. It was very nice to see someone who genuinely appeared to be happy to be at work. The evening started with a simple conversation asking if we were there to celebrate any special occasion in particular. Initially we didn’t think much of it but we ended up linking the quiet dinner to the celebration of a postgraduate qualification. Little did we know what the team at Flying Fish had in store for us.The food was simple, yet elegant and beautifully flavoured. The toothfish was the highlight of our meal despite a thorough enjoyment of all the dishes that we ordered (see pictures attached). The food arrived to the table in a timely fashion and was consumed equally as quick if not faster. Complimented with a few glasses of wine and a cocktail the night was extremely enjoyable.While there was no obligation nor expectation of this, Flying Fish took an extra step in which what they might have thought was small but absolutely took us by surprise and made our night all the more special. A simple small chocolate cake with a singular candle and the words “Congratulations” written in chocolate sauce was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience. A small gesture from this establishment may not seem like much but it caught us off guard and really highlights the high level of service that this restaurant offers.My partner and I have nothing else to say except, Thank you to the team at Flying Fish and Jessica for being wonderful and attentive. The service elevated the night and made this one of the most memorable experiences at a restaurant we have ever had. We will definitely be returning for more memories to be made.

More than simply food to satisfy ones hunger, flying fish is no ordinary fish. Magic found in the detail of the flying experience. Top quality produce, flavour combinations both subtle delights and flavour explosions, highlights the artistic experience and flair of the chef together with our host Polly, made this night one to remember always, lingering long afterwards, converted from ones pallet and sensory delights to the memory of this experience. Had me & my partners annivesary here on a Friday night. Was served by Ravi. The food was extraordinary but the service had a bit of gaps unfortunately. The table setup was a bit awkward as me and my partner had to rearrange it. Ordered 2 king prawn entree’s with half a lobster and 2 fish mains, as well as dessert. Great gesture by the restaurant to serve a ‘Happy Anniversary’ dessert plate given to us which tasted great. Only gripe was there was hair in my dessert that i ordered which they promptly addressed and said it’s on the house. They forgot my spoon too when they served it which i had to chase up as they were closing the restaurant. Great food and ambience, but felt our experience could’ve been better considering you’re paying top dollar.

Great service, atmosphere and food here.I was lucky enough to try many many dishes and they were all excellent. Even the humble French fries were some of the best you can get.This is one of those places you can visit for a special occasion and it’s worth the money spent.

Great food great service! We ordered 1 starter, toothfish & pork cutlet for mains, 3 side dishes and a dessert. Can’t fault any of them! Might have over ordered for 2 but we just had to finish everything because they were so good 🙂
