Wow!!! If you are a foodie or just want to enjoy a great meal and experience then Flyns Italian is the place to go. The 4 course set menu and wine is an amazing experience to enjoy with your loved ones.Sit down and enjoy the food and wine, the service is graceful and the scenery is just perfect!The bruschetta as an appetiser, then the veal ragu as entree and the steak for dinner with panna cotta desert and Riesling wine, its freaking amazing!!!All meals come with its own selected and paired wine thats delicious, with every bite and sip theres an explosion of flavours in your mouth.Also, its the perfect amount of food, and perfect amount of wine unless you want an extra kick, then another glass or two will go down divine. This place will not disappoint, and the food presentation…wowza!! Thank you chefs!!

Very nice meal in a newly opened (or perhaps re-opened seeing the history here) Flynn’s Italian. First up the cocktails we ordered were mixed at our table, which was a nice touch, and tasted delicious. My veal ragu gnocchi was excellent, and my girlfriend who has quite specific dietry needs at no warning was accommodated without hesitation by the waiter and chef (who whipped her up a very nice off-menu pasta dish). We tied things up with a panna cotta which had a fun twist to it and tasted great. Big credit due to Andrew who made us feel very comfortable and well looked after all evening (and also mixes an excellent Hugo Spritz). Would recommend!

Fantastic solo dining experience. My waiter Tiberio put on an impressive performance as he made my cocktail at my table. He was friendly, professional and ensured my meal was suitable to my dietary requirement. My entrè beef Carpaccio and main looked Huon Tasmanian salmon both looked like masterpieces! The skin of the fish was well seasoned and crispy and the sauce tasted sensational. The restaurant is top quality, with a good menu and moody setting in the evening. The experience could only be made better if guests were better dressed.Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerance

What a wonderful experience me and the wife had. Giorgia was our waitress and did a fantastic job explaining the wine pairing to match our 4 courses and everything came out at the perfect time between courses. Every dish was presented perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The ambience was on point and they even had a candle in my dessert for my birthday. What a wonderful experience and good value.

Food was wonderful. I had the burrata to start and the Sicilian pasta as main, both were well sized and delicious. The ricotta and garlic bread was the only disappointment as it was a very small serving. Other than that the wine list was lovely and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great service all round, I would come back again for sure 🙂

Exceptional!There is no denying that out of the all the Crystalbrook dining options, Flynn’s Italian is the best. Whilst they are an Italian restaurant don’t expect pizza on the menu. However do appreciate what fine dining Italian can be. From the complimentary olives which are to die for, to spectacular view and freshly designed decor.The food is bursting of flavours, hidden beneath different elements, along with serving ACTUAL hand-made pasta (unlike every other Italian restaurant in Cairns).Portions are generous and service is one of the most prompt I have seen in fine dining Cairns.
