So this one of those places that is B grade sushi at like D grade prices. Which is great because that’s the sweet spot when it comes to sushi. It’s affordable and delicious. The guy serving seemed to have an urgency to his disposition but was friendly enough. Spacious and well lit.

My friend and are Thursday nights regulars and have been eating here for years! The beef Bento is the best, never had a bad meal here. Staff are legends, sushi is amazing

The lady behind the counter has zero customer service skills firstly however that’s wasn’t the issue. I was firstly asked if I could pay cash (totaled to $9.20) when I replied “I dont have Cash” she told me its a minimum of $10 on card and if I wanted to buy a drink to get it over the $10…I replied with “no thanks” and just charge me the $10. She then had the face to charge me the $10 however added the surcharge of .35c on top??? Isn’t the reason for the $10 min is to offset any credit card fee’s and charges in the first place? Clearly avoiding the taxman and needs to be reported. After all that the food was below average anyway…Extremely poor experience.

Food quality was upto standards. But the quantity esp for bento box was a bit steep. Place looked a bit outdated but was very clean. The people behind the counter seemed nice

Its actually worth 4.5.Walked past while headed to the Waxing Lounge so decided to return afterward.When I got there, no one around and little ready made. a Fujisan special and the hoso maki. The female at the counter wasn’t the friendliest when I asked about the hoso maki but I was dying for some sushi. A cuisine I hadn’t had in many months.I needed to wait 10 mins (didn’t take that long) and yes there was a small surcharge for using a credit card ( there is a sign in plain sight warning of this) but I was not charged for the plastic bag. Hadn’t asked for it.The young man who made my order was polite and helpful.Yes the decor needs a little spruicing up and simplifying to make it stand out from all the other sushi places in Geelong but the food is soooo good.Will definitely head back there on my next trip to Geelong in 12 months.
