There is a lot to like about the Golden Vine Hotel at 135 King St Bendigo, that is because there is a lot going on. Depending on the night, you will find trivia, live bands, pub choir and more. We popped in for a meal; I had the Lemon Pepper Calamari with wonderful crispy chips and tartar sauce. The meal really hit the spot. We found the staff happy, friendly and welcoming. What more could you ask for?

I went there to have a $10 lunch today but sadly the prices have had to be increased to $13. The fish and chips and salad did not disappoint and it was both delicious and filling. The staff are friendly and attentive and the meal was prepared exactly as I asked. A pleasant surprise was the live music. Altogether it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal. I only hope that few people read this so it doesn’t get too crowded.

What a hidden little gem. Had dinner on a Tuesday night and it was full. Great music playing. Darts were going off. Meals were fairly priced. Steak night was a hit. Staff were amazing and the service matched. Definitely a place to go back to.

New owners have improved it a bit. Pretty good place for drinks with friendly staff.If you order food order it at least 30 mins before you think you will want it. They over cook a lot of stuff though.

The golden vine hotel is one of those places where the people who have been involved with this program are the same thing as they do you know anyone from a time to go through a lot to learn about how you wear it to your message confirming that it had been sent to your place and I would have been happy to answer your questions about your transport options for the entire trip.The food is great and the food is great and the food is delicious and the food is delicious and the food is delicious and the bandit are very delicious for all your friends.However, the music was not the intended audience to have the ability and the other way in that you have to do the job right to be a while ago but not really a good 😕 👍 😀

I wish this was my local. Visiting Bendigo and needed a quick bite on the way home from a long day. Meal finished, we stayed on for the music and had a great night. The idea of trying to have a quiet family meal with a live band on does not really appeal to me, but the blend of high quality (and very reasonably priced) pub food and a great acoustic guitarist turned out to be very enjoyable. Food varied from excellent to good. Steak (9/10, for the price. Tasty porterhouse and well cooked, nice chips & fresh salad. Kids Spag bol, 8/10, beef burger 7.5 /10). Friendly staff and the crowd was great too. Some of them pitched in with the music if a duet was required (this was not Karaoke but musicians who happened to be there). You would need to check what sort of entertainment was on (kids on comedy night might not be a thing) but I would happily recommend the Vine.
