We came here in a recommendation. The venue is located on the water in Cairns and is very pleasant. The place has a very good vibe.The staff are very helpful, a small issue with a meal was quickly resolved. Hats off to Roman and Ali in particular.We had the risky brisket burger and the reef and beef, also the Hemingway tropical ale and Davidson Plum Gin. The beer and gin are outstanding.The reef and beef was perfect. They could bottle the bbq bourbon sauce right now and make a fortune.The risky brisket was quite good. It had good flavours and balance, but the brisket needed more cooking time to develop full flavour and that melt in your mouth texture.Overall a very good experience.

Located at the Cruise Terminal which made it very easy for us to visit from our P&O cruise. We had a tasting paddle to experience a good range of the beers whilst my wife enjoyed a Weiss Bar Cocktail which she loved.Plenty of table room inside and semi-outdoor. Large location embracing all that they use for the brewing process.

If you are in town definitely give this a go if even just to try a paddle of beer.We went on a Monday to try some beers and were so impressed with the vibe and atmosphere came back on a Tuesday night for a meal.Highly recommend once you like a beer buy a tower (2000ml) to share around.We took our 2 kids 10 and 8, great meals for both.I got the steak and I must say it is rare to have a steak come out how you asked it to be cooked, not my favourite cut but really enjoyed it regardless.Wait time for food is well worth it, staff did well IMO for how many patrons they had.Try the Cane Cutter Ale, my favourite.We’ll be back next holiday, thank you 🙂

Great spot, beautiful building with exposed vats. Beer tasting was disappointing as they couldn’t provide quite a lot of beers off there selection list. Meal was absolutely beautiful though.

Beautiful range of beers and cocktails with terrific views. Food was a little overpriced for the quantity but the quality was there.Would recommend going for drinks over food.Suggestion to the venue would be to sell their shot classes.

We came here on Sunday 17/07/22 and were told it’d be 1.5 hour wait on food at 7:30. We decided to go elsewhere. However other patrons that we spoke to apparently were not given this courtesy. We came back the following night and ordered fish tacos, salt and pepper squid and the sausage pizza and two tasting paddles with every beer on them.The food:Salt and pepper squid was amazing. 9.5/10. Tender and beautifully cooked. Even the tiny bit of salad that came with it was amazing.Sausage pizza 10/10 was one of the best pizza’s I’ve had. It had a nice burn to it which lasted after eating the pizza. I don’t recommend if you don’t like spice.Fish tacos – this was the only let down. The fish lacked flavour. It did come with a sauce but it just didn’t do enough. 6/10The drinks:We weren’t in love with many. However there were two stand outs. Mr Wong and Sunny Haze (in that order). The rest weren’t anything special. I’d happily order those two if I saw them at any pub.
