While visiting Cairns this restaurant was recommended by my family … it was absolutley superb… food was outstanding and lovely friendly staff…. gnocchi the best I have ever had… and being married to a Sicilian for 20 years this is a big call… cannot wait to go back…

A wonderful place to eat and socialise. A very relaxed atmosphere with extremely professional and attentive staff. We had the Tiger Prawns & Chorizo Hotpot, Arancini Balls and the Beef Burger. All meals were outstanding. Really looking forward to eating here again.

Whenever I have a little extra money, I love to go to Hopscotch.Food is tasty, staff are excellent and table service makes ordering a breeze.Wait time is what I would expect (maybe 5-10 mins after ordering) to get my meal.The food came hot and so tasty.Best yet, if you can’t finish everything, no worries! One of the staff will happily get a take away container for you.Definitely recommend. Gotta try at least once. 👌

Food was great, had the eye fillet and was cooked perfectly. Lots of sides (maybe too many making it a bit too busy) including a red wine jus, duck fat potatoes (tad undercooked but still yummy), sweet potato, pan fried kale, bacon, roast garlic bulb and then a choice of butter. Really great flavours, good service, nice cocktail. Pizzas and pasta looked great too, will come back 🙂

Date night at Hopscotch Cairns did not disappoint. Food (pasta marinara) was 5/5. Service was 5/5. Dessert (homemade tiramisu) was 5/5. Outstanding!!

First time coming here, took my son here expecting a nice lunch. When we walked in and sat down the whole atmosphere seemed dull. The glass water cups were upside down and stuck to the table. When I pulled the glasses off the table, paint had stuck to the top of the glasses. Which I could of shrugged off … until I had lunch and it wasn’t what I was expecting and tasted absolutely disgusting. I ordered the pork special and it was partially burnt and mostly crumbed fat. Didn’t eat much of it. I went home trying to get the taste out of my mouth. The drinks were the only good take from this place. It was really disappointing as I drive past this place all the time and was so keen to try it out.
