This place was so good i went back there the next day for lunch! The guys here take their burgers pretty seriously, they chatted to me about just the buns alone for ages. Can recommend the chicken burger, that was epic.Beers selection of up there too. As the bar staff said you won’t have tried many of their beers but they’re all great. Can get noisy inside when busy, but nothing too bad. Nice outside area with heaters too. Seriously my favourite thing about Bendigo!

First of all, the prices that these guys charge are through the roof. It seems to be the latest trend but expect to pay at least $20-$30 for a burger, and that’s just a single patty. These prices are ridiculous. Burger joints in Melbourne start at around $12, so I’m confused why it’s so high here (and yes I’m from Melbourne). As for the food, I ordered the Chicken Thigh sandwich. The coating was exceptionally thick and crunchy although a bit under seasoned. The cheese was nice and it had a good quality bun. The slaw was ok but it could have had a bit more mayo. I didn’t get enough flavour in this burger so it was a bit lacking. The quality of the chicken thigh was excellent though. No fatty hard bits and nice and thick and juicy.Would I come back? For the price – definitely not. For the burger – maybe. But I would rather check out what other burger joints Bendigo has to offer. Hustler should work on either reducing their prices, or increasing the serving size, and boosting the flavour in their burgers.

The two stars is for the starters. Staff were friendly and the three starters we had were delicious and came out in a timely manner. Some minutes later we ordered our mains and more drinks. We then spent the next 1 hour and 15 minutes watching the staff give patrons the wrong orders multiple times. At one point they went to every table but ours to ask if a specific order, that seemingly had no home, was theirs. Maybe that was ours, but we weren’t asked. It wasn’t until we approached staff to say our order was paid for over an hour ago that someone came to our table to ask what our order was. By this time all the tables around us had been cleared yet our crockery from our starters still remained on our table, and did so until the mains arrived a few minutes later. None of us were impressed with the mains. And for the price you pay, we were expecting much more.3 out of 4 of us were sick the next day.We won’t be returning and I would recommend some staff training and that table numbers be placed on the tables, because the staff looked confused most and panicked most of the night.

$70 for a Philly cheesesteak, a hot dog, some fries and two diet cokes seemed pretty steep. It seemed even more steep when we got our meals. Edible, but definitely not worth the price tag. The cheesesteak was poorly made – meat sliced way too thick and very chewy, so not enjoyable to eat. It’s disappointing as their burgers are pretty good. We won’t be back in a hurry.

The staff were great. Though service was for my burger was slow.Noticed table beside us, 2 were served and then bout 30 min later the other 2 burgers came out.I was there for just over an hour. Inside had a rollover of customers coming and going. Being quite busy during lunch period on a Sunday. At times outside was also utilised.Downside is I ordered about 10min after the rest of the family, but waited an extra 45 min after they got their meals for my burger to come out after we asked how long it was going to be. As the burger came out straight away and was only just warm I seem to think it was the burger they took outside and then back into the kitchen when they couldn’t find who it belonged it.We were a group of 5. Burger Pattie was on the peppery side. Maybe I didn’t enjoy as I had been waiting for so long. At $16 for a hotdog and some chips, bit on the pricey side mum wasn’t too impressed with it and my 8yo niece didn’t enjoy. The other 2 burgers were ok.I don’t like leaving negative results. I would give it another go but I would mention the issues I had.

I just went on a Saturday for lunch on a whim, it was just what I wanted relaxed atmosphere, amazing burger, and I don’t usually don’t like craft beer but really enjoyed the beers I tried there. Going to make an effort to go there more often.

This place is incredible! Nothing to say but get in there and get yourself into a food coma! From thick beef patties to pulled pork, a burger inspired by Elvis and even Vegan options, these guys really love food and they know you do too. The milkshakes are a must and my personal favourite is the peppermint which has peppermint crisp in every cup.
