We were in Cairns five nights and we ate here for dinner twice because it was SO good! The oyster chicken stir fry, satay chicken stir fry, sweet and sour chicken stir fry and the laksa curry were all incredible! The main lady who serves everyone is polite, friendly, efficient and a very hard worker. On our last night in Cairns we went to a nearby Vietnamese restaurant instead (for variation and to try somewhere new) and then regretted it. Should have come here again. Very reasonable prices and the tastiest food we had during our entire stay in Cairns!! The place was packed every time and it has a good Google rating for very good reason! Go and enjoy – you won’t be disappointed!

We decided to check out this place because it was very busy. However, it took very long to get into the restaurant and it took a long time to be given a seat and when we were it was with another group of people who decided to eat here. Then we had to wait more than an hour for the food to come. The staff service was below average also as none of them apologized for the long wait that we had to endure. We also saw other tables being served before us even though they arrived after us. Even though the food seems quite nice, this does not make up for the extremely long wait, laughable service if they can even call it “service” and inexperience of the restaurant. The only reason you see good reviews is because they came from a very long time ago. Since then it is most likely that the manager changed or the staff has been changed also. They also forgot our orders and to tell us beforehand that they had sold out one product that we had already paid for. I would highly recommend not going to this place and this place definitely deserves a one star despite the numerous reviews that say otherwise.

Amazing food and service! The staff were so nice and accomodating. The lunch specials were such a bargain, only $10 and so delicious! The Thai milk tea was so cold and refreshing and tasty. 10/10 recommend ❤️

Ordered 8 dishes including fried rice, noodles and stir fry in addition to the starters. The food was awesome and the portions was surprisingly very good. The meat quality including beef, chicken and pork along with veggies was very good.. can recommend IMM Thai cafe to everyone.. Excellent service with a smile.. definitely coming back

It is a very simple set up of tables and stools and has high turn over as food is cooked so fast. Ordering is at the counter and food appears a few minutes later. The pad see ew was great, had good char and flavor. Chicken cashew was also tasty. Portions are very generous with lots of vegetables which I enjoyed. Good place for a quick meal in cairns city.

It’s the best of the best Thai food! super authentic and mouthwatering!!! Seafood fried rice and fried chilli fish , Tom yum soup is the best ever. Will definitely come back again for my next visit in Cairns:)

Very tasty food and such good value, I ordered take away and these containers are very full. Friendly service, they also get very busy with people dining in and getting take away. Very good food!
