We recently dined at this restaurant for the first time. Advertised as “Albury’s Best Chinese Restaurant” on their website, we had high hopes, however their website is extremely misleading. As most people do we read the menu online before visiting to see what was available. My family were travelling from out of town so they were relying on this as their only idea of the menu. A banquet is usually a good value for money option and the prices were listed on their website so we knew what to budget for. However when we got to the restaurant their dine-in menu was completely different and more expensive. When we challenged the staff on this they stated the prices online were for their takeaway menu only (yet it does not state this on the website anywhere), dine-in options are more expensive and they could not provide takeaway meals or prices for dine-in guests. We were really unhappy with this response and suggested they update their website to avoid misleading others. They said that the owner’s “poor English” and “language barriers” would impair them from altering the website…yet they were able to put the menu online in the first place. They claimed we were the only people who had ever had this trouble, which is clearly inaccurate upon reading many other reviews. The food was decent, but not for the price we ended up paying. They took far too long to clear our table which was frustrating when having a banquet with several plates coming all at once and no room on the table. After raising our concerns for their false advertising they offered no compensation and seemed unwilling to improve. So we are left with no other choice than to leave a bad review on their already suffering 3 star rating. We won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend this poorly run establishment to anyone.

Found the food delicious. Not overly sweet, just packed with great flavours. We really liked the Mongolian Beef and the Szechuan Chicken. Fried rice was very good also and the entrees were excellent.Prices are OK. Take away prices advertised are ~30% cheaper. For dine in 2 entrees, 2 mains, small fried rice, 1 beer and BYO for wine was $75 well spent.

Sunday night dinner takeaway! Fast service as I was a walk in, ordered Sizzling Steak, Mongolian Lamb, Mixed Veges and Special Fried Rice. Lamb and beef was very tender and tasty dishes. Good variety of mixed vegs and the fried rice soaked up all the yummy sauces! Will be back again.

The prices on the website are not accurate. The website menu lists cheap prices to lure you in and then once you get to the restaurant the prices are more expensive. Here was the response when I spoke to the staff and owner:- I was told that the cheaper prices on the website are takeaway only, not dine-in (it does not specify this anywhere on the website – check for yourself).- I was told that no one else has mentioned this problem before. This is not correct as I can see several other reviews complaining about the same thing.- I was told that the owner does not know how to update the website.- I was told that the restaurant was not willing to honour the prices on the website that were advertised.I will be reporting this to the ACCC because this is misleading advertising. Please do not support these dishonest business practices.I will be happy to remove this review when the website is updated.

We had a group of 30 arrive here unannounced and they handled us with ease. The staff were quick and friendly and the food was great. They let us split the bill into very manageable chunks and I would recommend this place to anyone

Enjoyed our latest takeaway dinner meal last week and food was great, generous servings, so far never had a bad meal. Extremely good value. Highly recommend this establishment

We have been going here for years. Really good for kids – traditional chinese – the kids love the sizzling chicken or sizzling beef – not too hot but flavoursome. Dining in with kids is acceptable. Price is slightly on the expensive side of things but OK for the quality of the food. Nothing too glamorous here – just good old fashioned chinese food. Recommend for dine in chinese with kids.
