Each time we visit Townsville, we visit Juliette’s on The Strand. The best ice cream in an amazing number of flavours. Their coffee and carrot cake are the best! Service is always friendly and efficient. And the location is very pleasant. Love the lights in the trees at night and the view of the ocean during the day.

Juliette’s is a nice little coffee shop, located in a great spot right on the strand frontage.Lots of little sweets, good coffees, and a variety of ice creams flavours that always rotating – including a few vegan sorbets.Always seems to be a line up for ice cream no matter the time of day or year.Perfect to sit out the front or grab takeaway and go for a walk along the beach.

Just had a yummy cake, owner said it was made fresh last night, served with fresh cream and strawberry and cinnamon sugar, going tomorrow for breakfast. Hubby thought it was pretty good too.

Came here after a run up Castle Hill. Juliette’s did not disappoint! Delicious food, great location next to the water.Sat outside under the tree 😌Customer services was commendable. Food came to the table before I could post my run haha

The gelato was decent but nothing special and could not compare with Messina or the multiple other artisan gelato places in larger cities. I tried several flavours trying to find one that hit the spot but aside from the ferrero rocher, nothing else was that palatable, and the staff were getting impatient, whispering amongst themselves and giving each other glances like I was a cheapskate who wasn’t going to buy anything, so I bought two flavours for myself and one for my mother out of courtesy. It’s a cute store but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.

Tonight was my second visit to here. I went quite a while ago and ordered a coffee with 2 sugars. It wasn’t stirred.So tonight I gave them a try again.I loved the ambience, the service was quick and very friendly but my coffee was not stirred again. I know $5 isn’t a lot but it’s my treat and I hate having to ask for it to be stirred. I’m paying $5 for something I can have at home for less than a dollar. If I’m paying for the service than please stir the coffee. 🙂
