Beautiful interior with lots of traditional artworks around, would say the ambiance is quite nice. Nice warm lighting; coupled with nice natural light. Menu was on the pricier side – was disappointed with the size of the Tom Yum Soup but the soup itself is sweet and light, not really sour and spicy like the usual ones that I’ve had before – different but not a bad thing. Fried rice with the banana prawns was quite good ($25), wasn’t a huge fan of the prawns itself, would have gotten the chicken one instead ($21). Pad Thai was good. Service staff were really friendly and approachable.

Came to Jumbo Thai Restaurant and Bar for a work dinner on Friday. Was super impressed with this restaurant. Really authentic experience all around. The styling of the restaurant is an experience in itself! The food was absolutely unreal. Everything with so much flavour. If your sharing you’ll need definitely a couple of plates!Good choice of tap beers, lovely staff and great food, couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend!

It’s easy to see why this restaurant has great reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed every course including pea dumpling, curry puff, scallop, pad Thai and coconut ice-cream (absolutely delicious). The service was friendly and helpful, and the meals were delivered quickly without fuss. The menu is fairly large, and I’d love to go back to try more dishes.

Stumbled across this really lovely and popular restaurant. Great ambiance above the busy street and fantastic food. I had the banana prawn stir fry which had a generous amount of prawns (see pics). Also try the Pea Dumpling, beautiful

Very pricey for Thai food. Food was good but not great. I would recommend Same Same in the valley for a similar price and better ambiance. Service was very attentive and food came out quickly but I just don’t think it was worth the price bracket it is in. Pea dumplings were probably the highlight but overpriced.
