This was an absolutely incredible experience. The staff are amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food is another level and has an awesome mixture of flavours and textures. The price point is great for the quality of food. Highly recommend. One of the best restaurants in town. A must visit when out in Wollongong 10/10

K.malu absolutely exceeded my expectations. I had heard great things about this restaurant and had to try it myself. Everything was delicious and the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Will definitely come again!

My partner and I had our first night out since we had our baby. When we booked, we asked about a table with room for a pram, and they were accommodating with a spot. When we got to the restaurant, that lovely lady who greeted us showed us to our table, she did ask if we could fold our pram up and tuck it away out the back but we declined that as we needed it next to us for the baby.We were greeted by another lovely lady who was sitting by the bar, she definitely just wanted cuddles with our baby, not sure if she was the owner or not but all the staff knew her and she seemed like she was the owner. We browsed the menu, and GOD, it looked amazing. We ordered the Beef Carpaccio ($25), Mini Crab Pies ($22), Cauliflower ($16), Crispy Portobello Mushrooms ($27), Pork Belly ($30), and Fig & Pomegranate Salad ($16).Firstly, the food was all amazing, a little on the smaller size for what they charged you, but it was all still amazing. The highlight was most definitely the Portbello mushrooms, DIVINE.For drinks we ordered, Burnt Butter Old Fashioned ($21), Espresso Mac ($19), and Lychee Mojito – Mocktail ($12).The drinks were really well made, especially the Old fashioned. Amazing tastes and really hit the spot. I felt the Espresso Mac was a little too sweet and not enough espresso flavour but overall still nice, and the mocktail was well made and full of lychee flavour.I didn’t give a 5-star rating because of a few little points, and I’ll list them here.Firstly the music they were playing was really really loud, we could hardly hear each other.Secondly the prices were alittle too pricey for what you got on the plate.Lastly, the way the food came out was far too split up.We understand they only just opened up recently, and they will only get better. So, we will most definitely be back.Maybe without the baby next time.

The food here is phenomenal and the staff are excellent. I needed a table that was wheelchair accessible and the staff were happy to accommodate. The tomahawk steak is delicious and well worth the money. The cocktails use local ingredients and if you’re looking for a special dinner, this is an excellent place to have it!

Wonderful dining experience. Could not fault anything, from ease of booking all the way to payment.Friendliness, attention to detail and exceptional food. The wine list is extensive, we loved our wine picked by staff for our meal and the limoncello with our desert. The Wagyu beef and baked cheesecake definitely exceeded my expectations.Mushroom gnocchi also delicious. Can’t wait to try the deli selections.Highly recommend K.malu.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and we could not have had a better experience. The service we received from all staff was polite, informed, helpful and genuine. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We shared all of our dishes to experience more food on the menu. The waitstaff were helpful in choosing our meals and they went above and beyond to making our evening memorable and relaxed. We will definitely be back!
