This place has such a wonderful ambiance with sunlight streaming through the laser light roof, the plants on the walls, the old fashioned light bulbs, and the earthy timber tables. My parents, who usually struggle to hear in cafes/restaurants, found it very easy to have conversation over the table. The food was very tasty with generous portion sizes and the staff friendly (bar one lady who must have been having a bad day🤷‍♀️).In all, a very comfortable and stylish cafe and I look forward to going again.

Had brunch at King of the Castle Cafe with the family of all adult kids including their partners and x3 dogs. The waiter was nice enough to place us at the back deck, fired up the gas heaters and took our coffee orders. Served fast. Very polite people even gave a bowl for pooches drink. A bit noisy at the back deck as it is facing the freeway but I guess it’s better than not allowing the dogs with their humans. Good job guys , your cafe is well recommended. Price is reasonable and food was also nice.

This was highly recommended on the cafe list in Melbourne at Geelong. Just had to try it! Cafe had a nice ambience, staffs were also very welcoming. Great selection of food. Chose the Chocolate Pancakes and the Big Breakfast. Portion was huge, couldn’t finish the pancakes thou they were really nice. Highly recommended to try this once!!

Would have to be one of the best casual dining experiences I’ve had. Every aspect shone, service, coffee and meals were excellent. All our 3 meals were delicious, beautifully presented and unique, It’s just a pity we don’t live closer. Will definitely return, many thanks to all the staff 👍

My husband had booked this place for breakfast. Great food. I loved the casual- cool brunch vibe. Ana looked after us taking orders and all. She was very friendly. The coffee was on point. Guys if you’re local please go there and try the coffee. Highly recommend this place. Hats off to the kitchen crew.
