Its our first time visiting spring hills. We unknowingly went into this hidden gem of a restaurant, expecting mediocre food. But what we got instead, was great fine dining and meals that were above our expectations! The servers were polite and friendly. The overall vibe was cozy and chill.The steak tartare had a unique taste to it. The duck croquettes had a pleasant soft flavour.The dry, cured meat was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The lamb melts in your mouth and the duck was nicely crispy. The only downside is that I don’t have a bigger stomach. Worth it! Truly, an amazing experience!

Knowhere is literally in the middle of nowhere, just on the outskirts of the CBD. Great dining experience, with a distinct, innovative menu. The food and cocktails we had were different but executed well. Our server was also really friendly and helped make some suggestions with our choices.

Happy hour 2:30-4:30 even on Saturday (6 tap beers and some wines included), I loved my “lightsaber blues cocktail”, it was fun, refreshing and massive).The charcuterie board is outstanding, the bread is a perfect pair, and the pickles cleanse the palate between meats. The capocollo (pork neck) was the best cut. Really nice duck croquettes (good flavour and subtle taste and smell), and the duck parfait was as good as any French restaurant, the kumquats were a little out of place though. Trendy decor and friendly service can’t overcome the poky tables for singles / couples and the prices for the mains. The location is neither here nor there, perhaps the name is appropriate. Our mains were tasty but we should have been given steak knives for our meat and the plates should have been warmed. Try it out; it might be great for you, just not for us.

Where do I start? This place is amazing – Brisbane’s hidden jewel.The staff – from the behind the bar to front of house – are so accommodating, polite, and FAST. They did not hesitate to pull together 4 tables for our WALK-IN group of 10. That’s hospitality at its finest! Special mention to the amazing cocktails our table kept ordering, and the on-tap house lager!Now – the food. There are some INCREDIBLE chefs and talented minds over in the kitchen. Not only did the food come out quite quickly (again, walk-in table of 10), but it tasted unbelievable. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. I had the duck, which was truly one of the best meals I have ever had. The value for money is excellent, the vibe is fresh and modern, and the staff know what they are doing. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for an amazing meal, team @ Knowhere!

We had our breakfast date on Saturday here. It took them 1 hour to give us food and smoothies even though there were not many customers. They didn’t say anything to apologize or anything to make us feel being valued. Food is ok but the portion is quiet small for the price. It cost $80 for breakfast for 2 people with 2 smoothies.
