It’s been ages since we have been to the Lake View Hotel at 204 McCrae Street. The night we went the place was packed, obviously very popular. The Bistro was full too so we had our meals in what I would call a pretty elaborate sports bar with everything streaming in on the big screens. This however did not detract from the various, and many dining areas though. My 5 stars go to the chef for my delicious Open Lamb Souvlaki with diced tomato, cucumber, olives, lettuce, fetta & Greek yogurt with falling apart lamb, which was sensational. Well done!

So delicious, gorgeous staff… came after Elvis ( short drive ) after being turned away from pub in town.So glad we did, super yum!Didn’t take pic of food as we gobbled it up straight away!

Don’t often give 5 stars but this pub deserves it. Dined in the Bistro which was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Both our meals were delicious and served in good time. Staff were attentive and courteous. Range of beers to suit everyone’s taste. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Will definitely return.

The steak was cooked as ordered (medium rare)and it was delicious. I enjoyed my meal so as my friends that are with me. They had the following and they recommend it (not to mention they are Chefs themselves) LVH burger, Salt&pepper calamari, Fillet mignon,Haloumi chips.
