Every time we go, it is EXCELLENT. Even if you chose the whole fish dish, its super quick coming straight to your table. I have never eaten such fresh, tasty, inexpensive meals in Cairns before meeting these amazing people. Their food is definitely their passion and it shows. Nice colourful presentation and Flavour at super fast speed. We keep coming back and bringing friends. I hope they never change a thing. Its perfection every time. THANK YOU, your team is wonderful. This is a really lovely restaurant, staffed by beautiful humble people. Our family of 4 visited twice during our Cairns holiday, all meals were tasty, large and very reasonably priced for family dining out. We wish you were in Melbourne, as we would be regular customers. Make sure you have a reservation on Sunday, or you won’t have a table! It is a very popular restaurant for a good reason. Portions are very generous, prices are affordable and the food is delicious. Service is very swift and friendly. I had a meal deal, pad thai with prawns and an entree for $25. I was stuffed and very satisfied. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

We came back for our second dinner takeaway. Quick service! Super generous portion (each dishes we were expecting half of the serve)! And we have never disappointed with the taste which is authentic and filled with lots of real herbs & spices (instead of just using purchased stock/paste). Today we have veg Tom Yum and Chilli basil stir fry chicken both of them are 10/10. Yesterday we had stew Beef soup, stir fry Kangkong and Satay chicken. Stew beef soup is highly recommended!

This is the third time eating here,The first time we ate here my girlfriend ordered the Thai Lak sa with tofu and I ordered the Stir fried satay sauce with tofu with a side of the Spring rolls, the portions were amazing and my girlfriend fell in love with the Lak sa, the best one she’s tried yet! The satay sauce was very creamy full of flavour and very tasty.We then visited another day with friends were I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and friends ordered other things from the menu, the portions were once again big and filling! Would recommend visiting for the lunch specials with friends, affordable and very tasty!This is my third visit coming here and I tried the crispy chicken with oven rice and I was not disappointed 🤤The staff were friendly and great as always and such a cute little restaurant with great food, we’ll be sure to be back again and again until we try the entire menu!Thank you very much Team Lana Thai Restaurant for your friendly service and great food! The restaurant is truly a gem in Cairns and we are glad to have tried and come across you!

Panang Curry is pretty nice. I ordered medium spicy. But it was more sweet than I thought.I paid for extra rice (2 Aud) which is a fair price.Also, the crispy pork is slightly different to those in Vietnam/ Chinese restaurant. Worth to try tho.
