AUGUST 2022: You know the feeling, you’ve arrived in a new city, and hit the main restaurant strip feeling overwhelmed by the choice and range of restaurants on offer. After walking up and down a few times, we chose Lemoncello’s, and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff are super friendly, and the owner is super adorable. Her customer service is second to none and the meals are exactly as she says “larger than expected”. Pulled beef pasta was absolutely delicious, dips huge and super tasty, but the crowning glory was the seafood platter! Morton Bay Bugs, Tiger Prawns, Scallops, Grilled Fish, Grilled Calamari and even a baby octopus! Great portions and absolutely delicious!

We are a visitor from interstate in Cairns. It was Saturday night and everywhere was fully booked. We walked pass Lemoncello’s and thought we give it a try as they just had a table leaving as well.Eggplant 🍆 ragu was a bit bland but it’s ok. Octopus was nice with well dressed salad. Prawn dish was tasty and spaghetti marinara was good too. Food was well presented.However, there were some common experiences with other reviewer about service and staff. I wouldn’t say they were rude but not as friendly. I didn’t see any of them smile once while we were there. Maybe they were busy but I thought a smile wouldn’t hurt in hospitality industry. So service was average.Now about the food, personally I think it’s a little heavy on salt but just a bit though. We still finished most dishes that night.

Where do I start?!?! This gorgeous little place served us 5 star food. We couldn’t stop talking about it as we ate. Even my fussy 10yr old enjoyed his meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more. Our servers were also very friendly and helpful. No complaints from us. Thanks for feeding us delicious food!! X

We had the carbonara pasta and a pizza. I’m quite fussy with my pizza. But theirs was amazing… base not too thick, toppings were fresh and overall absolutely delicious. We had lemon cello for dessert.. and oh wow! Yummmo! The service and friendliness of the team was so inviting. Would definitely come back.

Loved the food and people! A lovely environment! Highly recommend this place. It was very welcoming and great service. We were looking for a good place to eat and they managed to fit us in. A big hello and lots of love to Bella from Diane and Joe in Melbourne. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing little Italian restaurant! I took my mum here for dinner and we had some of the best pasta we’ve ever eaten. Very generous portions and honestly just delicious! Staff were amazing, especially the owner Bella who was so lovely, accommodating and generous. We had an amazing night and will definitely be returning asap!

Visited this fabulous restaurant three times during my short stay in Cairns.The food is great, the best garlic bread and garlic prawns that I’ve ever had and was served soon after ordering.The staff were really accomdating during a busy time and the kitchen staff were producing fabulous food whilst under the pump.It must be remembered that experienced staff are hard to find at the moment and that some staff are training. At this little restaurant all the staff were very helpful with a smile.The delicious food and drinks were reasonably priced.Lemoncello’s is well worth a visit.
