UNFRESH SEAFOOD.Today I purchased A grade sydney rock oysters and some Australian tiger prawns. Both were not fresh. In particular the oysters were old and stiff – just horrible. The prawns were just passable. I expected better however we won’t be back if that’s the standard of “freshness” they are offering.UPDATE AFTER JARROD’S RESPONSE.Why as the owner do you not notice that the oysters are days old or the prawns are crook? Isn’t that your job, particularly as you highlight that this can happen from time to time? Never again will I buy seafood from Nowra Fresh. It was disgraceful.

Driving past this place for many years as we live further south but today decided to stop and check it out ,,,,they have a side window offering hot foodWOW OMGgot the flat head crumed with chips it was honestly the one to beatsize , flavour , price , service A1That’s not where it ends so while waiting walked in the actual store got seafood marinara , prawns and seaweed salad ,,everything was fresh ,,,you got a new customer guys!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

I visit this shop weekly. The shop’s name describes the best what the shop is. The delicatessen section staff is most helpful to cut and pack the way you need it to be done and the variety of product excels the variety of major chain stores. If you visit just once – you will visit again and again.I was not impressed with the take-away fish and chips section that opened a year ago or so. Having the fresh produce fish is a bonus lost in the tasteless way it is prepared/cooked.
