For an extra $10 we received 2 buffet breakfast with our stay. We arrived at what I assume is peak hour and queued for a while and waited for a seat to become available. I was fortunate that Lindsay was in the bar doing coffee and I was able toObtain a sneaky latte while I waited for the table. Amazing!The queue for hot food was long and I found the quickest way to get another coffee was to return to Lindsay in the bar. Again the coffee was amazing.Breakfast was average with a relatively small collection. The restaurant seemed very understaffed and our table was not cleared once throughout our 30-40 minute stay.The staff were lovely and when they had the chance to help they would. It just seemed as though they didn’t staff well enough for the almost capacity hotel.

Food was great!Unfortunately we were told by the concierge to book at 10am for buffet dining, group booking as the place “quiet down” around then. after our wedding the night before we thought a buffet would be great!They neglected to tell us that the restaurant closes at 10:30. This was misleading and disappointing, leading us to manically grab any food we could as guests hadn’t arrived yet.With the staff not willing to budge, we will NOT be recommending to friends, and are very disappointed in the service. My mother really wanted to put on a good meal for the bridal party and we have been rushed.Palisade’s should be ashamed to disappoint such a large booking.EDIT: This review was partly premature, however all of the above still happened. Later a decent discount was negotiated and apologies were made. Based on this, we WILL recommend to friends, but be noting to them to be sure about their bookings.

Definitely one of my most disappointing dinners ever. Expected good food due to the price, but what was presented was extremely under par. The starters were extremely underwhelming and the smallest portion sizes ever for how much they were priced. The seafood platter was partially inedible, with the octopus and salmon being so over cooked that my partner couldn’t even cut it apart. He ordered a steak medium rare and it came well done. The sauce was watery and not enjoyable at all. Also for the price that the restaurant charges you would think the service would be better. The servers would look at us and then walk the opposite way. We had to wait for around 15 minutes just to get a wine menu, then another 15 for someone to come and take our drink order. The bill was over $200 and was definitely not worth a single cent of that. My 6 year old son said that I cook salmon better than that and so refused to eat it. Won’t be coming back again.

Second visit to the Palisade in 5 months ( lockdown restrictions having being lifted) ; although the Food and Service was good (the portion size of the Barramundi fish on my Signature Seafood Special was smaller than the last time I had this dish,,a bit skimpy ),,sadly the North Bar service was abit slap-dash ; a few tables were not cleared away of used glasses, the Bar counter had used glass water marks( the young Bar staff didn’t seem too bothered in keeping the counter clean and dry).Slightly disappointed but for the delicious food….and clean, tidy restrooms.

Good service, good steak, I ordered medium rare and it’s spot one. Vegan cake is also good, great ginger martini as well. I would want a bit of salad with my steak tho

$70 per couple walk-in buffet, range of food is dismal, quality is bad (scrambled eggs are watery, cold and mushy) and sausages taste off. Saving grace is that tomato sauce is free.

Arranging it so it was ready as we arrived and sat down.Gracious and thoughtful host.Saw us waiting to pay after her shift and came back in to take payment – as she knew her colleagues were busy in kitchen and didn’t want to keep us waiting.
