This is an absolutely lovely waterfront restaurant overlooking the marina. We tried the $55 per person banquet which offered a wealth of various dishes. The service was fantastic however food was a bit slow, this is understandable given that they are very busy when we went on Saturday night.Overall a great experience and I’m definitely keen to come back again

Fantastic location by waterfront. Excellent service and very good food. The waitress names Vivek was very friendly. My wife and I were very happy the service. The very fresh seafood platter and seafood pasta we were shared that was delicious. We had a wonderful Sunday night at Piato.

I was so happy that we ended up at this amazing restaurant for our last dinner on holiday. Our last night in Cairns was incredible the staff was so friendly, attentive and overall best customer service. The owner is such a nice and welcoming person.Now to the food review OMG the food was fantastic the seafood platter was awsome and so fresh and the steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had the beef cheeks which were incredibly tender.We finished of the night with the creamiest creme brule, coffee and a complimentary ouzo.Thank you Piato team for making our last night a night to remember and we can’t wait to come back again soon. I would definitely recommend 👌

This was a last minute family lunch! The atmosphere was lovely along the pier. We were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered the award winning seafood platter, arancini balls, steak with garlic butter & fish n chips. All were lovely to eat.They have a great range of lunch specials as well.Very happy with the food & service. Thank you to the staff & chef at Piato! 😍👍🏼

Easy to see why every lunchtime is busy at this restaurant! Incredible specials which include a glass of vino, and all beautifully prepared by Chef Michael. The arancini and calamari dishes are amazing, and as Cairns locals, we love supporting this great business.

My friends and I had the pleasure of dining here some months ago and we still talk about what a great experience it was till this day. We had the beef cheeks, the ribs and some bugs. The food was absolutely fantastic. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. The team at Piato really went above and beyond, we will be sure to return here again in the future
