Great ambience and balcony. My partners burrito looked amazing – unfortunately my tofu salad bowel was underwhelming noodles cooked to a paste and sprouts past there best which tainted the other flavours.

This place is a hidden gem. Good value Asian fusion lunch. Lots of vegan and gluten free options. Treat yourself to a gluten free vegan donut for desert. These guys brew Will and co coffee and make vegan protein shakes and iced drinks. Pictured is the kale slaw with pulled pork and pork crackling. Really nice atmosphere on the balcony, overlooking Wollongong’s very confusing floating palm tree.

Had the most mediocre dining experience at this Canteen. The bowls were the wrong size for vermicelli salad (couldn’t mix the dish at all), noodles were undercooked, and the sauce was uneventful. Vietnamese iced coffee just tasted like a regular iced latte. Clearly no real Vietnamese influence whatsoever. Banana smoothie was more like a watery banana milkshake. Satay noodle dish was average, satay sauce tasted like it was out of a jar and none of the vegetables were fresh, rice noodles were overcooked. Will definitely not return.Decor was nice.

A little tricky to find, but once you do you’ll be happy you did. This small place located on the 2nd floor has a terrific atmosphere. The staff are friendly and people love this place. Sit out on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air while eating some great food. My chicken satay baguette was tasty, more importantly you could taste the freshness. Give this place a try and be amazed.
