Fantastic food, great pub atmosphere and friendly staff. Meals were average prices. I had the pulled pork pie, peas and mash potato. I have never had this anywhere before. It was tasty and enjoyable. We liked the place so much we booked for the following night of our trip. Even being Monday evening i am glad we booked, as the pub was pretty busy. Definitely a good find this place.

Great regional Hotel, easy access to parking. My partner and I both enjoyed our meals. The Porterhouse Steak and Prawn Fettucine, were both cooked well and delivered promptly to our table for a busy night. Nice selection of tap beers. We’ll be back.

Sorry Kal … You’re wrong on this one. We booked a table in the restaurant and, despite being there in the hotel at the time, moving us to a table near the toilet that we specifically requested we not have, claiming I was disrespectful in challenging that does not wash. I love it that you support your staff … but allowing us to feel abused by simply questioning the change is over the top. Don’t expect us to see you again soon.Cheers,Chris

The food was a little disappointing as my schnitzel was on the cold side. Dessert was yum. Service was excellent and I loved the feel of the pub. I did enjoy myself but food gave the score.

This place was full when I arrived and clearly liked by the locals, but after my meal I couldn’t see the appeal. We were brought to out table by a young lady who kind of just motioned at us to sit down, not explaining that we needed to order at the counter.I ordered the parmigiana and I got the impression it was pre cooked and reheated in the microwave as it was cooked but cold in the middle. My co worker ordered the veal schnitzel which just looked like a hardened piece of cardboard. Our other coworkers meals were also pretty average. I just felt like we ordered really simple meals that require a pretty basic skill level but they struggled to meet a minimum standard.The lady behind the bar who took our order was lovely but I feel her efforts were tarnished by some pretty average food.

Usually our go to in Bendigo. But we’ll be limiting that to drinks from now on. Sent back a steak that came out well done (ordered rare). It came out again medium well! If you’re going to charge $40 for a scotch fillet, get it bloody right! Pun intended. Very disappointed. Steer clear of the steak people.

Lamb Wellington was okay but the sauce was just too spicy for it. Very good service with friendly staff. Nice lunch break.
