Dined here tonight after reading positive Google reviews, what a treat! This place is worth a visit! This family run restaurant prides itself on freshness, quality and quantity. Their staff are very welcoming and personable. We very much enjoyed our seafood platter and are looking forward to a return visit to try some of the other delicious items on their menu.

I came to Maroochydore for a business trip and arrived quite late. I was looking for a nice seafood restaurant to eat at and found Red Sea. Even though they were totally packed they were able to accommodate me. The staff were all super relaxed and friendly. They said I may have to wait to get my food which wasn’t a problem. It’s a family owned business and Orien found time to chat with me and we had a great conversation. She told me that they had just won a prestigious award that she proudly showed me. I had the lobster and prawn platter and it was perfect. The portions were generous and the price was good. On top of the great service it’s two thumbs up for me.

Omg!! What beautiful presentation!! Not only did we ring three minutes before the kitchen closed, the chef’s were happy to help. They created a menu option into takeaway; seafood platter for two. Great money for awesome fresh value.. beautiful friendly staff which showed great service. I wish we were local of would be our go to restaurant every weekend

A great find. An extensive menu that will have something to please everyone. Great service. Serving portions are large. My steak was cooked to perfection (Something that seems to be difficult for many places these days). Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Good seafood, amazing calamari & prawns!!We came here and ordered a seafood platter on the recommendation of our B&B hosts. It was extremely good value with a great selection of cold and hot seafood. We weren’t particularly impressed by the oysters – they natural oysters were a little small and the oysters Kilpatrick were smothered in a strange tasting sauce mixed with cheap commercial bacon cubes. The best things on the platter were the calamari and the prawns. Instead of ordering a platter we’d probably just order that next time. Our friend ordered the eye fillet medium rare – and it looked well done to me. Service was a little slow and slightly haphazard – we only received our meals one hour from the time that we arrived at the restaurant! But the staff were friendly and BYO is a plus!

Wow! We were totally impressed with the seafood platter for 2. Honestly, the best fresh oysters I’ve had in years, the rest of the seafood was excellent. The sauces were home-made, making a lovely change from the regular sugary tartare and cocktail sauces. Service was great, and it’s understandable why they were almost fully booked on a Tuesday night!
