Looking for a good burger joint, we ended up at “Ribs & Burgers The Rocks”. I must admit that from Chicago, I’m excited about ordering and paying for the system myself, so I’m glad it’s here as well. This simply buys time while waiting for the service. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated, the service very nice and the food keeps its promises. Hamburgers have a truly excellent taste and especially sweet potato chips are delicious! Ribs do fall off of meat, but had almost too much sauce. For a hamburger we would return here anytime. The fact that we were there 2x on our 4 day trip in Sydney is probably the highest reward.

You can even spectate the chefs cooking if you really want to through open glass. There are outside tables and I love the seats inside. There is something about the colour schemes of the restaurant that really mesh well with the vintage props for the display and comfortable seats!Service was great with big smiles and being ushered in with a welcome. Although, loses a .5 score because sometimes it’s questionable and service just tries to getaway with just doing it’s job. But we felt mostly welcome coming in. Also, a great lunch / dinner spot for families as well as big parties are welcomed.The ribs were flipping magic! So tender and melts in your mouth. The best ribs I’ve ever tasted and I hated ribs. The peri chicken burger was great but just does it’s job. Perhaps caramlise the onions so there is more flavour. The Loaded Burger was the main stair and the flipping awesome chips! This place sells one of the best chips!I’d recommend getting the Loaded Burger with chips at a first go.

Takeaway/delivery seems to offer bigger portions than dine in based on my experience.Anyway, this branch has great ambience and convenient location when you’re out and about in the Rocks.Food is great.Both beef and pork ribs were tender.I don’t recommend their cabbage salad as it’s very dry.

The Old American burger and fries are good. Ribs not the slow cooked which make it hard to get the meat out. Milk Shake not thick as per described. Outdoor seating preferred as indoor is smoky.

Fall off the bone ribs, great flavour/marinade. Recommend the lamb ribs. Chicken burger was flavourful and succulent. Chips are the best, crispy on the outside, light and fluffy potato on the inside. Condiments such as tomato and bbq sauce are free for self serve. Friendly and helpful staff. Ambience is rustic and nice. Plenty of booths and seats, has inside and outside seating. Wheelchair accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp built in next to stairs, no railings so be careful. No steps or raised edges at entrance door. Doorway is wide enough for an electric wheelchair.

What an experience, I don’t have one complaint.The service, the food and the location is perfect.My top order was definitely the loaded burger, ribs of cause and the chicken wings!!.. wow…Also it is such an affordable price, generous serving and good quality food. Definitely worth trying.

We visited this restaurant today on Father’s Day . The restaurant was reasonably busy , staff were nice and attentive to our needs.We ordered the meal deal with full beef rack and 2 burgers , upgrading our side to sweet potato . The beef rib was delicious , quite mois and freshly cooked . The burgers are ordinary to my taste , not bad . Overall experience 4/5 . Good location right outside of The rocks market .
