Perfect food and location! We really loved this place. All food is excellent, but the zucchini flowers were definitely the highlight! The other favourite were the tostaditos. Make sure you have a reservation before going here!

I was searching Google for #Gluten Free Restaurants in Noosa, and Noosa Sails came up as an option. We went to have a look at a few places, however either the menu wasn’t interesting or they were full. We decided to search for Noosa Sails as a last ditch attempt for a late lunch and finally found it tucked away at the far end of the beach walkway. We immediately got a seat without a wait and were reassured that all the food would be #Gluten Free. The hostess and server were polite and knowledgeable about the menu and dietary restrictions. The server even informed us about all the specials which then made us change our menu choices. The food though pricey, was fantastic. We ordered a coral trout served with pumpkin Butter, Slow roasted Fennel, Lemon and Herbs. The Fennel was such an amazing accompaniment to the fish. I’m going to be looking out for that combo again!Since the fish doesn’t come with any starch, it would not have been filling, so we ordered some steamed Vegies. At $60, they could have thrown in a bed of vegies or potato, rice etc… I ordered the Slow roasted sovereign lamb shoulder served with sauce Soubise, Dutch cream potatoes and sugar snaps. When I saw the size of the lamb, my first reaction was damn, that’s small for $46 however it was more than sufficient for a person with moderate appetite. The food was memorable to say the least, the view and ambience were lovey as were the staff. I would definitely recommend the place especially for Date night or date lunch, anniversary meal etc 😋Dietary restrictions: Most of their items are #Gluten Free or can be made Gluten Free #GF

Beautiful setting but overpriced for good, not excellent, food, The sashimi was ok but not memorable. The toothfish in a miso glaze had a good texture but the flavour of the fish was overwhelmed by the miso. The wagyu rump cap was very tasty, but the Moreton Bay Bug was uninteresting and a bit dry. The hazelnut pavlova was tasty but overwhelmingly sweet. The pana cotta itself was nice but the accompanying chocolate covered Savoiardi biscuits were hard and overly sweet. Then there was the treatment… We had reserved the 5:15 service. First we arrived an hour early in the hopes of having a drink before the meal. We were told that evening guests couldn’t be seated while the daytime staff were still working, and that there wasn’t an open bar where we could have a drink. Fair enough, although I’m used to restaurants trying to be accommodating instead of making their guests do the accommodating. We came back an hour later and were offered a table at the front with great views on the condition that we had to be fine within 1.5 hours instead of 2. We agreed, as that should have been plenty of time. Unfortunately service was quite slow. When they offered us dessert, they told us that two options would take too long to prepare so we should order from the other 4 options. Once we finished dessert, the waiter brought the bill directly without offering coffees or anything further. Sure, it is what we agreed to, but we expected commensurate service from the restaurant instead of being made to wait and then being summarily evicted. My overall impression was of an overpriced restaurant with reasonable food, but not spectacular, and of staff who don’t go the extra mile for their guests. I won’t be returning.

Has to be one of the best restaurants in Noosa. During our 10 day stay we tried many restaurants. Birthday lunch with my daughter today. Ambience, views, food and drink selection was great. A big shout out to our waiter Dion who made a great experience into a amazing experience.

A beautifully timed sunset 🌅 dinner. We had a fabulous table, enhanced with a great wine, cote du Rhône 🍷 recommendation by Sommelier Dale and absolutely gorgeous food. We had the prawn 🍤 pasta 🍝, eye fillet with greens and fries (chef kindly accommodated our dietary requirements) and today special of pork belly, which was so tender and delicious potato mash. For dessert we shared the French inspired apple 🍏 tart and golden syrup rhubarb pudding, which was so yummy 😋 and a great way to finish our meal. We can highly recommend this culinary dining experience, Bon Appetite 🥂

What an enjoyable lunch on a beautiful day. We wanted something light and local and we’re certainly not disappointed by Sails. Enjoying great drinks with fresh oysters, sashimi, Morton bay bugs and barramundi with a beautiful view of Noosa Heads Beach. Couldn’t imagine a better place to enjoy a delicious meal on sunny afternoon in Noosa.

Unfortunately, our experience was a let down. The maitre de showed us to a table inside despite requesting an outside table, tell us tables were allocated on a booking basis. There were at least 3 tables vacant outside during our visit. After being seated the Maitre De forgot our water and we waited sometime for another waiter to ask us if we had been served. We gave our order to the second waiter. We ordered our meal including starters, entree and mains plus our drinks. Our food was beautifully cooked, when it arrived but not how it requested ( ie lamb was medium rare not medium as requested). The entree was not served at all. Our drinks went to another table. Deciding we’d had enough of the poor service, my wife ordered a final drink rather than desert and it remained on the bar despite 4 servers walking past it a number of times. The Maitre De meanwhile spent his time talking to his preferd customers in front of my wife’s drink. As people who were considering dropping a large amount of $$$$ for the evening, we paid our bill and went elsewhere to spend our well earned money. Thank you Bistro C on Hastings for helping us out.
