This café offers a fabulous dining experience. The venue is spacious and has a light, airy feel to it which gives the impression that you could be eating outside.The staff are friendly and quick to get you engaged in their menu, a menu that has something for everyone. Portion sizes should satiate most hunger pangs and won’t dent your wallet either. The quality of the food and drink I had was great and kept my taste buds entertained from start to finish.Do yourself a favour and drop in at Sandstone for a fab dining experience.

Dined in for a Breakfast/Morning Tea with my girlfriends. Customer service was friendly and efficient. Ordered the Vegetarian Breakfast, presentation on point with two beautifully poached eggs, tasty mushrooms, crunchy hash brown, sweet beans & tomatoes, nicely charred whole tomatoes and yummy sweetcorn and zucchini fritters 😋😋😋 Have been wanting to come here for a very long time, well worth the wait and can’t wait to come back again 😁👍❣️❣️

Having the most Beautiful Sunday lunch… EVER!at Sandstone Cafe!There was nothing to fault in my Salmon /Salad meal, however, there was Plenty to Recommend!The Dressing lasted the whole Salad, which was Delicious and in proportion to the Salmon!Flavour, Flavour, Flavour, the whole meal through!I thought perhaps i just got lucky…A second visit to Sandstone and the Same Result.I’m in Heaven!As an aside, the Staff were exceptional!Thank You Sandstone Cafe for a Lovely Dining Experience!

Really lovely setting, especially when sitting outside on a warm day. Excellent wine selection (I do like scotchman vinyard wines, though). Food was nicely presented and tasty. The only criticism I have is that there were not enough wait staff on and although the girls that were on were absolutely beautiful, it took over 45 minutes to even receive our drink order ( 3 white wines) and well over an hour for food to come out. I also feel this place would do so well if they offered a grazing board. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re after a relaxed lunch or afternoon wine.

Been coming for years and while quality of food has suffered everywhere else, Sandstone remains good quality.Very sad to see people sending poor reviews over little things.The damage to business’s across Victoria is terrible they don’t need people complaining over nothing.

We absolutely LOVE Sandstone Cafe, Cindy and the team are amazing, the food is always superb and the drinks have never disappointed!After many delicious breakfasts and brunches over the last 3 years I reached out to Cindy to see if we could have our wedding reception with them. Cindy was quick to organise a meeting with my husband and I, she gave us guidance on what courses we could have, what would suit the season and was delightful to work with.We had roaming canapés, a sit down dinner and a dessert buffet with a tab on the bar for everyone, with a specialty cocktail for the night.Cindy also offered to decorate and set up the layout for the cafe. I wasn’t looking for elaborate or full linen table setups as we had a more relaxed wedding and Cindy absolutely nailed the layout and decorations – the cafe was gorgeous and it was great to not have any stress about getting the reception venue ready!The pricing for venue, bar tab and meals was excellent and service on the night was amazing, we had many laughs, a good dance and got so many compliments on the venue and food selection for our reception. Every time we have relatives down now they ask if we can go to Sandstone for food!
