Came here for family dinner, and the look of amazement on the faces of all the kids there, proved that this was family favourite for many. The kids at my table were excited that it was my first time.The smorgasbord had a huge selection. The chicken and corn soup, and beef and black bean were my favourites. The people at my table loved the salt and pepper fish. Oh, and there selection of desserts. Yum! The pavlova was tops.If you want a family friendly restaurant with amazing service- come here. I was uber impressed by their Splice cocktail. (Legit like the ice cream)Kid-friendliness: The place was full of kids. This place is legendary amongst families. I heard adults say that this was their favourite restaurant as kids.

Fantastic fish curry. Big chunks of crispy fish with lots of veggies is a rich curry. Loved it and a very generous serving. The staff were eager to please and the owner a great host. Toilets were super clean.

The first thing that caught my eye upon entering Satay Mas was the beautiful interior design, they hit the nail on the head on that one. You really do feel like you are dining in at an authentic Chinese restaurant. The food itself is amazing but it can be easy to become bored of it. The parking situation can be confusing however, as you have to park around the corner of the establishment and walk over.

Have been coming here for over 15 years now and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and there are dine in options available as well as take away. A favourite for me is their buffet however with COVID currently they have removed this and are doing dine off the menu instead. Hand sanitizer is provided at the door and tables are sanitized between diners to ensure that cleaning standards are kept.They have a very large menu range with items including Malaysian and Chinese dishes that are at great prices. Desserts are also available.It’s recommended to book ahead if dining in. For take away, wait time is usually about 15 minutes as food is cooked to order.Parking is available at front and also around the back. Note that there is no wheelchair ramp available so assistance may be required if you are using a wheelchair to access the restaurant.
