Thoroughly enjoyed eating a lovely lunch here. Well presented food served by friendly staff. Always great to find restaurants that can cater my son who has wheat allergies with their gluten free food options (see nuggets below).

I ordered waffles with jam cream and maple syrup and a chocolate milkshake, which while everything was OK the milkshake could’ve been a lot colder and maybe I should’ve asked for icecream included in it. My partner was looking forward to Granola but they’d run out and she was disappointed but she tried the Mushroom Bruscetta which again was OK. The seating and general ambience was great and very relaxing sitting on the verandah with our dog. Overall a good place to go for breakfast, lunch or morning/afternoon teas etc. I can recommend this place for a visit.

Not a very good experience… the high chairs were very dirty and the kids play area was just as dirty. The quality of the food wasn’t great, it was as though there was sand in my order and one of our other meals was completely forgotten about. Cutlery on the table wasn’t refilled and was dirty. One of the staff members just seemed so unsure whenever we spoke to her. Service and hygiene definitely need to be improved.

We’ve been going to Sensations for breakfast for a couple of years now and it seems to be getting worse. We use to love it there! We understand everyone is short staffed at the moment and the girls front of house were wonderful, but the food was quite terrible. We paid $70 for 2 of us and we left most of the food. Half of the big breakfast was stone cold and the other half was swimming in oil. We left very disappointed and sadly not wanting to return, pity as it was a great little spot. I hope they improve before the busy season returns.

I have been going to Sensations, for 6 years, and thought of it as a favourite. However, the past 10 times, aproximately, when I have ordered a juice over the phone (so I don’t have to wait), they have only started to make it when I arrive. When I mentioned this to the owner, last time, he did not offer an apology but instead was quite rude and stated they were busy – which I totally understand but 10 times… really? When I ordered a toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwich, last Monday, and a fresh juice, the girl was pouring bottled orange juice in my juice. I asked why and she said we top them up with this. I said, calmly (still paid for it), “I am not happy with this as I am paying for a fresh juice”. My supposedly fresh juice was mostly bottled juice. I heard the young girl telling the owner (out the back) that I was not happy about bottled juice being put in my supposedly fresh juice. His response was, “Are you kidding”. How dare I be unhappy with bottled juice being poured into my fresh which I pay for so it is fresh with no additives – $10 juice!!! They also forgot to put the tomato in my toastie and I paid $20 for my order (could have gone to a service station). They are constantly running out of food. I have given them about 30 opportunities… thinking must just be an off day. Well, I’m done and won’t be returning. I messaged the owner, he viewed my message but chose not to respond. I wasn’t intending to do a review (never done one – not that person) but I’m over being treated like I am a nobody. You need to value your customers and provide better customer service – this is your business and it is going to go under if you don’t start listening to your customers. That would be a shame! Nobody wants you to fail.

A bit disappointing. My poached eggs were over cooked. The venue was understaffed. It took a very long time for an iced coffee to reach our table. On the positive – Nice hollandaise sauce though and nice location overlooking the marina.
