Tucked in a lively, bouncy alley away from Crown Street Mall, this is a great place for a quick bite or a weekend lunch. Not only does the atmosphere enliven the restaurant experience, it enhances the food’s personality in relaxing the nerves and filling you up with joy. Kindly served by a lovely cashier, we ordered a $12.95 lunch deal with a Pittsburgh burger, drink and onion rings, $5 chicken tenders and $15.95 pork ribs, fries and drink. The bargain price tags here are supported by reasonable portions and tasty flavours. The Pittsburgh was distinguished by a cheesy sauce that elevated a normally plain burger. A highlight is the namesake ribs, delicious fall-off-the-bone ribs with a good meat and fat ratio. Most importantly is the memorable rib sauce, the smoky, already rich BBQ sauce is delightfully paired with the kick of pepper and spice. The side of chips were alright but it could be seasoned more. Though as someone who isn’t a fan of onions, their onion rings are to die for and I don’t say that lightly! Delectable sweetness and crispness contained in a golden ring. The only let-down was the tenders as the juicy chicken was overshadowed by burnt batter, perhaps it was left in the fryer for too long. With their economic full course, casual meals and setting, I can certainly see myself bringing friends along to this place and enjoy Wollongong in all its beautiful culture!

We have been to this restaurant 4 times including today . Sadly the quality of their product continues to decline. Most disappointing though is their false advertising. (See Photos) On every table in the shop they had a clearly advertised weekend deal. However upon trying to purchase this advertised deal the rude check out girl claimed they were nolonger doing the deal which was clearly advertised on every table. We had gone there specifically for the advertised deal.To quote rude check out girl “there’s no way a business can offer those deals and stay in business”. That may be the case, but the business advertised it not your customers.As we are keen supporters of local restaurants we still had lunch at this venue today. But with the poor overall experience and disappointment we will NEVER go back to this restaurant.They would have been better off honouring the deal that was advertised, and then taking measures to adjust the store signage if they had genuinely made a mistake. Instead, they’ve lost loyal customers and now have a bad review. 😁

Sweet potatoes fries and the steak wrap were great.However, the burger’s meat was dry and seemed like it was pre-cooked. In addition, the served the three dishes with 5-10 minutes difference. Could be improved!

I read the reviews and hoped the negative ones were a one off but sadly they are true. The food servings are tiny and therefore overpriced. I ordered a full rack of ribs and it was the size of a half rack, the smallest I’ve ever seen. They should advertise by weight as it is false and misleading, it does not meet the definition of a full rack of pork ribs. I never finish a full rack, usually get a takeaway container and have the rest the next day. I finished the team and was still hungry. The chips were basic, I prefer Macca’s.My wife ordered the chi and ba burger and it was the same, tiny. Better off at Grill’d for that price.Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

I really wanted to like this place. The chips were really terrible, they almost had a similar texture to carpet. The burger patty tasted wet, as though it had been boiled. The nachos had no flavour, the “chilli” beef was very watery, had a slight dirt texture. I didn’t expect much from a burger joint but considering they also own the Mexican place next door, quite concerning. Pork ribs were excellent though!

Went there for lunch. I had the Stinger spicey wings and the Smokin hot chicken burger. The wingers lived up to their name. My wife had the vegetarian nachos. Which she really enjoyed. The service was so friendly. We are definitely going back again..
