Completely over Romano’s or the Vic for a weekend lunch. What a great find. It’s off the strip but it’s clean, well-maintained, the service is good and the prices reasonable. Not much variety in the menu, but it’s cooked and presented well. This is my new go-to.

Just going through Wagga on a overnighter, decided on some pub grub for dinner. THE BEST SCOTCH FILLET I have had in ages! So, took wife back today for lunch.Highly recommended for the food.Typical pub atmosphere, a bit noisy at night, but worth it.

It’s been years since I’d been to the Sporties and this visit was a pleasant surprise. Clean, good atmosphere, great service and a reasonably priced meal. You can’t complain about that. I’m headed back for sure.

Went there yesterday (24th Sept) to watch the AFL Grand Final. Venue was good, service ok, but I was amazed that a pub that advertises as a Sporrs Bar had zero food on offer throughout the game. Not only was the kitchen closed, they didn’t even have bags of chips or nuts to sell. First time I’ve ever been to a pub with zero food on offer. For a major sporting event it makes it even stranger.

Recently had dinner here with a large group (50 of us) AND it was a race day. The place was packed, yet the service was quite fast, the food fantastic and the staff remained cool and quite jovial for the most part. It was a really enjoyable evening had by our whole group – the meals and speed of service with the food was a standout!
