We came here as a family of 6 for lunch. The food was great and the service was as well. We had a range of dishes from the kids menu to the dining menu and everything was really good with the desserts being a stand out.I would just say that they need to clear the tables quicker. We had a number of menus and plates left on the table for a long period of time and I had to actually ask them to clear some room on the table.

Steamers Bar and Grill is positioned in excellent location. The ocean view is picture perfect. The service is prompt and professional. The menu here is extensive and looks impressive. There are seafood, pork, beef, lamb, rabbit and vegetarian options. A mix of cuisines from all over the world. We ordered some oysters which were nice and fresh. The main course dishes were a bit of a disappointment. Wiodfire prawns and a steak were chargrilled/burnt in a fire and tasted bitter. At $160 for a lunch for two people the mains could be more complex, should be well seasoned and taste better.

The venue was really quite nice, and on a positive note the staff were really quite nice and helpful. The location was stunning.My biggest issues is that i paid $50 for a wagyu steak that come to me dry and bland. I was really disappointed with what I received.Luck for the other people i was with that what they got to eat was tasty. So I must have just gotten unlucky.

Great place by the sea. Good food and drinks. Recommend the chilli margarita. Waiters are fantastic and overall good atmosphere.. the deserts are to die for.. we’re thinking of going back just for the deserts and drinks.. 😀. One thing to add, the prices are high. But it’s worth it.

Over priced menu and disappointing foodThis is my honest and fair review of this restaurant with the good and the bad below:[The good]- the decor is good as it’s matching the sea side theme.- The toilet is clean and well maintained.- the outdoor seating is nice as you will look at the beach, the lighthouse and a bright blue seaview.- I highly recommend the softshell crab and the ginger oysters, they both taste good.- their online booking system and website is well designed, make booking so easy.[The Bad]- parking is a nightmare as the beach goers took almost all the spots, you might need to park in a distance from the restaurant.- the service is below average, the waitress didn’t seems happy to work there despite I’m a polite and respectful customer.- We’ve ordered a seafood platter, the swordfish is dry and tasteless, and the rest are completely under seasoning, and there are no salt and pepper shakers on the table at all…- the servings of the food is wrong and it doesn’t match the price tag, the beach view won’t make any difference to be honest.In conclusion, it’s not a good experience for me, not the worst just overpriced food and I don’t recommend it .

Ordered $130 seafood board for lunch. Very small portion for 2 people which would be ok if was well prepared, which it wasn’t, everything was over cooked and dry. When this was mentioned to the staff their reply was “its because we use a bbq”. Nice location, but average service and food for the cost.
