Fantastic fine dining experience! Went with my family and friends for a fancy 3-course dinner there. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious and surprisingly filling. Didn’t catch the name of our waiter that was serving us, but he was very affable and proficient. We had a private room which was stylish and luxurious, yet peaceful and relaxing. All in all, a very brilliant place to enjoy and appreciate a fine cuisine!

The perfect fine dinning restaurant experience is Tamarind. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. welcoming greeted by their host. I had booked a reservation for ten people and everything went pleasantly with perfect timing. They have a wonderful wine selection and a broad drinks menu. Our waitress was lovely and very accommodating and attentive, while seemingly respecting our privacy. I personally love the setting of this restaurant, I feel it can be appropriate for anyone wanting a formal dinner. Cairns best restaurant by all means. As for the food, the choice of two or three courses, love this concept. choose either an entree or a desert and get a main if you get the $75 two course. I would highly recommend the Penang Duck Curry. It has a lovely flavour that is to die for.The Beef Dou was a fan favourite, cooked to perfection as medium rare, very flavoursome and may I add every dish was presented beautifully, they had height, using edible garnishes, colour contrasting with sauces and vegetables, let’s just say they match the presentation with the theme of the restaurant. My highest recommendation in Cairns. Excellent job to everyone working there, especially the chefs thank you!! Will see you again in no time.

Lovely experience. We managed to get a booking via the Pullman Reef Casino after a cancellation on our third night as they were fully booked in advance. Food was great with wonderful flavours, standouts being the barramundi and the Wagyu! The cocktails were great and well presented and the Argentinian wines were superb. Could do with a little refresh but that’s with of the venues we visited after two years of Covid. Lovely evening – would recommend.

I had the whole fish it was delish. Hubby had pork belly says it was yummy but serving size was on the smaller side. I loved my panna cotta but the black rice dessert was a bit of a let down.Service was amazing thank you

Went here for my partners birthday. She is gluten free & there were a lot of options for her. All the dishes were exquisite. The service was welcoming & extremely professional. They even made her a special Birthday treat. Definitely recommend if you are dining in Cairns.

Absolutely wonderful food and service in an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. All the dishes were delicious but our favourite was the pannacotta with chocolate and raspberries three ways. A feast for the eyes and the palate!
