Welcoming and helpful staff.Scrumptious food, with big servings. Definite value for money.Steak sandwich was to die for. Also had a nice hazelnut long black.I definitely recommend this hidden treasure. Coming back next time I’m in Townsville.Good stuff The Balcony! 👍

We had Big Breakfast, Chicken Avocado and Camembert Panini and a Steak Sandwich and it was all beautiful. Staff were friendly and place was cosy and nice. A must try for breakfast brunch or lunch.

We went with my husband to Townsville for a weekend, and we went to the Balcony on Saturday and it was so good, so, we had to back on Sunday again.Friendly service, very good eggs benedict and lovely cocktails

A great cafe sitting high above Flinders Street and super busy on Sunday. We enjoyed our breakfast very much and had chilli baked eggs and chorizo Benedict. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out fast. The chilli was really yummy!

Coffee was exceptional. Lattes are served in tall glasses, which is always too much milk for me, and creates a hot milk drink with coffee aromas. I requested mine in a small glass, and that was the right size.Eggs Benedict came with spinach, which I found a bit different (surely this makes is a combination of Florentine & Benedict?). The spinach was creamed and had a nice flavour. But it over powered the taste of the hollandaise.The bacon was cooked to near perfection. Much better than most places in Townsville are able to achieve. Crispy, yet retaining flavour and not burnt at all. A good result!All in all a very tasty meal, but some refinement of the flavours would make it perfect.
