Sensational. I’m a lover of fine Japanese and this place hit the mark. We had a late reservation and the food came out incredibly fast. All was amazing. We had the $95 banquet and it was worth every cent.The staff were very attentive and lovely. Swanky atmosphere. When back in Brisbane, I would visit again.

A very cool chic underground restaurant decked out in velvet. Would recommend a booking, it was full on a Thursday night. We ordered the $95 banquet and was not disappointed. Food was very tasty and thoughtful, I especially loved the kangaroo tataki. The only dish I wasn’t a huge fan of was the kingfish, it was quite flavorless. Cocktails were delicious and there is a large selection of sake. Overall a great place for a special occasion.

What an experience! The quality of the food was amazing and the staff and service were outstanding. Massive props to Zak the head chef who we had a brief chat to about his experience in the industry and the way put together a few of the dishes we ate. Would definitely recommend and be back again. Cheers guys!

This cool ambient set establishment situated down stairs on Elizabeth St really sets the Japanese cuisine experience alight with the dishes available. The depth of flavour to every dish is commendable! Not to mention the friendliness of the staff making you feel like you’ve known them for years.Check out their menu available online as reference to what to expect! The portion sizes are spot on, presentation is superbly put to the point you don’t wish to ruin it.Thank you to all for a fantastic experience!My wife and I will be back.

I saw this restaurant on instagram and instantly fell in love with it. I wanted to do something special for my wife and I so booked a night away in the city. The food here was amazing, like above amazing. We selected a random assortment of food and there wasn’t one thing we didn’t regret picking. I ordered the whiskey flight, delivered by the bartender he was very informative, telling me the different notes and flavours I would experience with each one. Our server was just over and above amazing, provided recommendations to bars in the area which we visited with made our weekend so much better. Will definitely be returning with more friends!

The best dining experience. Staff were amazing, service was great. Food was absolutely delicious & presented beautifully. We had the $95pp 10 course dinner for two people & everything was perfect. Espresso martinis were delicious. So glad we decided to try The Boom Boom Room… highly recommended
