Came here for a Friday lunch.Ordered the fish tacos and was left unsatisfied, the fish pieces were very small, as if it were high grade lobster and had to be used sparingly.Very underwhelming.The beer selection was good, service was friendly and the views of the lagoon were impressive which prevented a lower rating being given.Just give better portions in future is what I’d be expecting.

It’s overpriced. I got the pulled pork tacos and they were dry and the mango chili margarita is not even tasty. Better to save money and come on taco tuesday so you spend $4 on a taco. The staff is amazing. I randomly stopped to have a cocktail. I didn’t see anything on the regular drink menu, so I asked for something tropical and with rum. The main bartender overheard my request and said I will fix you up. A short time later my drink appeared and it was fabulous and and refreshing and served in a glass labeled with my favorite rum printed on the outside. I ordered another and departed afterward. I returned a few hours later wanting another. But the original creator had left for the day, and nobody could figure out what I had earlier. One of the bartenders overheard and said he would contact the original guy and get the recipe. It happened just like that I had my cocktail pleasure in front of me. Now that’s going the extra mile. And at regular drink price. Wow! Thank you bar staff at The Courtyard.

Have been here before a while a go and it was great… Not so much this time round.Ordered a kids nuggets, hot dog and chicken burger, and paid for our food at 1150am then at 1220 pm I got up to get another beer and saw the food starting to get put up on the pass. I ordered another beer then mentioned to the staff that we were still waiting on food.The response was “oh it’s only us 2 here and they have just dinged the bell so it won’t be too long” it wasn’t very busy and we had ordered well before more people had turned up. There were 2 staff in the kitchen as well.When the food arrived the chips we’re cold and stale, with far too much seasoning. Chicken burger was O.K. at best and the hot dog was well.. not hot! It had been sitting under the pass lights (or no lights) for long enough that, the mustard had a crust, the snag ends we’re dry, the melted cheese had solidified and the bun was rock hard.If it wasn’t for the cold beer, it would of been a 1 star.

Great restaurant along the Esplanade in Cairns. We had the Tuesday taco night special and the tacos we got were great. Staff were friendly and the cocktails were also nice.

Here the problem here was the deep… The selling it as “Blue cheese deep” but was just mayonnaise..

Good location, friendly staff and the food was tasty however the tacos very expensive for how small they were.Ordered prawn tacos for $15 and received 2 tacos with little filling and 2 small prawns in each, expected more for the price. Also had the loaded chipotle chicken fries for $2 morewhich was delicious and much better value for money.
