Chanced upon this place on the very first Tuesday they opened. It was a very quiet night but the barman, Felix made us feel very welcome and looked after us very well. You could even choose your own music. A well set up venue for a drink and I hope people get behind it.

The Press is without a doubt, one of if not the best bar I’ve ever been to. The theme is so complete and elegant, from the music, to the walls and decor, all to the mannerisms and dress of staff. Even the paper the menu is printed off is the old style unrefined paper you would find in an era like the prohibition. The drinks are a fair price for the atmosphere offered, as well as the quality of the drinks themselves. From pressing the buzzer when you enter through the secret door all till you walk out the door, I haven’t found a single place that matches the elegance and atmosphere of the Press. Keep this bar secret, don’t allow it to change, everyone needs the chance to be able to experience it.

Terrific service, absolutely cannot fault it. I was a little confused at the entry with the buzzer, but soon understood how to enter. On first look, it is a quiet subtle bar, but the staff compensate with their gorgeous personality.Myself and my partner only went for drinks, yet were served bar snacks as well. Great recommendations for drinks, and serving suggestions.Would definately reccomend the venue for larger groups, or even for that quiet date night. It did the job for us, so it should for you too!

Enjoyed the live music and atmosphere but it was disappointing that we couldn’t order drinks after 11.30 pm even though the band were still playing. Seemed very odd.

Awesome location with a lot of lovely retro details, such as an old fashioned paperpress. The highlight of the bar is definitely the huge range of whiskeys, rums and liquors!If you are a conoisseur and like to take your partner out for a tasting, this is definitely one of the places…Prices starting at $12 for a 150ml glas of sparkling white or a red wine.
