We came here for an early Father’s Day lunch. The food was delicious! Our server Matt was absolutely incredible. He was polite, knowledgeable and a joy to chat to. The food, while spendy, was amazing quality and there was so much fine attention to detail. The atmosphere was really nice and I’d love to go back! Good food doesn’t come cheap but this experience is worth it 👌

Great vibe this place. Food was good but nothing that especially stood out. A little disappointing with the limited choices of steaks considering its a steak restaurant. We would’ve expected more attentive service considering the price tag attached. We found we had to flag our waitress over multiple times to order drinks or advise we are ready to order. We were looking forward to our visit here but would we go back? Probably not. We’ve done it now and can move on. As we visit Brisbane’s suggested top steak restaurants, Black Hide so far still takes the cake.

These photos do not do justice to the experience. Service was very efficient and the food was everything the menu promised. Not too heavy and the first time in a while that a medium rare steak was cooked to spec. Had natural oysters for the starter and steak with 3 sides for the mains. The biggest challenge of the night was whether the martini should be served on a foundation of vodka or gin. Seriously, fantastic meal and would bring clients for a meal.

Was waiting for half an hour for my table, and it was worth the wait.The settings are very nice, decor is lovely, the atmosphere is vibrant and energetic.We started with some bread and butter which was a nice filler.Then I ordered the bone marrow and the 300gr new York strip.The bone marrow was especially good, it just melted in my mouth.The NY strip was cooked to the perfect medium for me, I which was very appreciative of, in light of a very bad experience not far away.The 5 star came with the help of Chris, he offered excellent service, very professional yet kind.Thanks Chris!

One of the best steak in brisbane. The signature T bone steak was so juicy and cooked so perfectly. It’s like chewing to butter. We love it so much that we finish the steak within 10 minutes. Couldn’t get a good quality of photosIt was my partner’s mum’s birthday so i was enjoying and chatting w family 🙂However, food quality was so good. Oyster was from boomer bay in Tassie. Also got calamari w tartar sauce for entree.With few glass of wine. Everyone need to drive except me so we need to look up glass wine but they have pretty good selection of wine menu.Steak was so good! Cooked well for me (medium rare)Fish was also nice with white cream sauce.I reckon they have different fish every day or week. Enjoy fresh yummy fish!I will go back and grab more cocktails! Saw a lot of drinks selection. I have got two cocktails which were so good😚Service was so good. The guy who served to us was giving us good explanation of food and drink.Pretty busy venue!

Service 3 stars: had to ask for a menu after sitting down. Had to ask twice to have our order taken as the first waitress went to get our table waitress who didn’t appear to want to serve us but no explanation.Food was nice, New York steak was tender and cooked perfectly medium rare and went well with the mustard seeds. Risotto was a bit salty but the goat’s curd cut the saltiness.
