Went there to try out the $99 tasting menu for dinner, the variety of food was fresh and nicely presented. The menu will not leave you hungry after not too full. It is perfect to try out small quantities of high quality food.The setting and atmosphere was really good, there are seating for indoors and outdoors. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and courteous.

Amazing experience here at Zushi! Got seated by the kitchen which was a bonus as we could watch all of the chefs making the food – fresh!Highlight was definitely the spider roll – soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado and wasabi mayo – melt in your mouth goodness. However, everything we ate here was fresh and tasty.Highly recommend!!

Super delicious sushi and Japanese food in the stunning setting and backdrop of Barangaroo, this place is always busy so make sure to book ahead. Portions are large, and expertly made and oh so tasty. Great range of alcoholic drinks, and it is hard to go past the fresh Sapporo on tap. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience for Japanese fine dining. We had the tasting menu for 99/person which was fantastic although a little pricey for the amount of food. Service was also excellent and helpful.

Food was brilliant, we enjoyed the banquet. Rated the entrees more than the main dishes. Their sushi is next level and loved the mushrooms with the main and wagyu.Staff were a bit pushy to get us out which I didn’t appreciate bit understand closing times.

Had a nice dinner at Zushi. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They noted our dietary requirement carefully and made sure everything was gluten free. When they brought out the dishes they would confirm it was gluten free/coeliac safe.To start we had some oysters and the sushi combo (nigiris). I have to be honest, the oysters did not taste as good as others I’ve tried. It left a very strong ‘fishy’ aftertaste in my mouth. The nigiris were also not as good as other Japanese restaurants I’ve been to around the same price point. The fish just did not taste as fresh as it should be.But onto the good stuff which is everything else! The sushi rolls were incredible, never had wagyu beef in sushi before and it works so well together, truly tasted something I have never tried before and loved it. The spider roll was so yummy, the crab was crispy and the meat was soft on the inside.The honey prawns were the highlight of the meal for me. That was some of the best prawns I’ve ever had, such a gentle sweet honey taste coated over some perfectly fried prawns, yum!! The scallop tempura was also fried quite nicely but lacked a bit of flavour. The agedashi tofu was also very crispy and soft on the inside. The yuzu miso salmon was delicious, absolutely loved the glaze on the salmon and the salmon itself was incredibly tender. We had a lychee sorbet for dessert which was quite a nice way to finish the meal.Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, though having tried other Japanese restaurants in Sydney and given the price point of Zushi I would have expected some of the dishes to be more exceptional.

Good and service both pretty good. Servings r quite small for the pricing. Seating comfort could be improved. The heating goes from super cold to super cold and is very uncomfortable.
